We’re happy to announce that InnoConnect was selected the second-best startup in the Czechia country finals in the PowerUp! by EIT InnoEnergy Competition. During the 4′ pitch to the jury composed of investors followed by 3′ of questions, we presented our maps with analytical tools and explained how we help cities to understand their data. Our recent map application on Chicago criminality and also a visualisation of traffic accidents in Plzeň raised the interest of the jury!
The winner is Neuron Soundware, a startup which develops an artificial intelligence capable of understanding the sound and vibrational signals of machines and subsequently identifying various machine defects. The third place goes to SunnyCold, a manufacturer of modern heat pumps and hybrid photovoltaic systems usable for low energy houses.
